Baked Phenolic Resin (HERESITE®)
Corrosion control coating commonly used for HVAC-R coils, radiators, and heat transfer equipment in harsh environments.
Corrosion protection for coils, radiators, & fume handling equipment
HERESITE® P-413 is a thin-film baked phenolic/phenolic-epoxy coating used mainly on coil and radiator heat exchangers and air/fume handling equipment. It’s designed for corrosive exposure like marine/salt air, chemical fumes/condensate, and wastewater environments.
Performance notes buyers look for:
- P-413 is positioned for severe offshore marine exposure and is cited as meeting ISO 12944-9 (formerly ISO 20340) for HVAC-R coil/radiator coatings.
- Thin-film application is intended to limit heat-transfer loss (Heresite cites OEM feedback of <1% thermal loss).
Certified capability you won’t find everywhere
Sandmans states: Sandmans RCD is one of 11 P-413 applicators worldwide, one of six in the U.S., and the only applicator in the North East.
