Manufacturing Coating (High Volume)
Production coating for manufactured parts—repeatable workflows, high throughput, and fluoropolymer (Teflon) specialization.
A coating partner for manufacturers
If you run a machine shop or manufacturing facility, you need a coating partner that can hit throughput, repeatability, and consistent finish across runs. Sandmans quotes both large and small volumes and supports ongoing production schedules in the Northeast.
Specialization: fluoropolymer / Teflon coating systems for low-friction and non-stick performance are commonly used on industrial parts and components.
High-volume coating methods we use
Pin Line (hook, coat, bake)
Designed for moving high volumes efficiently. Sandmans’ pin line process supports hooking parts, coating, and baking, with optional zinc-phosphate prior to coating when required.
Dip & Spin (bulk small parts)
Parts are loaded in a basket, submerged, then spun to remove excess coating and produce a thin, even film, then cured. This is commonly used for small parts at scale and is built for repeatability and throughput.
Production-focused capabilities
- Repeatable process steps for consistent finish from run to run
- High-throughput handling for small parts and batch work
- Pin line workflow to hook, coat, and bake nearly any volume (pairs well with Teflon systems)
- Dip & Spin option for bulk coating of small parts using immersion + spinning to control film thickness and improve uniformity
Ideal parts for high-volume coating
- Small parts and components requiring bulk processing (Dip & Spin)
- High-quantity manufactured pieces requiring hook/line processing (Pin Line)
- Parts needing low friction / non-stick performance coatings (fluoropolymer systems)
Quote inputs
- Part material (steel, stainless, aluminum, etc.)
- Part dimensions + weight
- Quantity per run + annual volume estimate
- Coating requirement (system type, performance target, thickness if specified)
- Any masking areas (threads, bores, tight tolerances)
- Delivery schedule (one-time vs recurring)
